Woah…we don’t know exactly when we hit this number, but we just realized that our facebook page has surpassed 26,000 likes! This on the same day that hardcore punk website NoEcho.net were kind enough to publish an article about us, Dagger, King Ly Chee, and more importantly, Hong Kong. Huge thank you to Carlos Ramirez and the author of the article Ned Kelly for even acknowledging that UniteAsia.org, Dagger, King Ly Chee exists, but to take the time to pen an article that brings the social/political turmoil that we’ve been enduring here in Hong Kong for the past 5 months (20 years really) to the forefront of worldwide hardcore and punk rock.

We, as always, want to thank everyone who feels this website continues to be a valuable resource for you. We continue to try our best to update the website as much as possible (which has been daily since we started in 2015) with up to date information about insanely inspirational bands from out here and thus, always look forward to your submissions – from bands, your managers, your PR company, your label. We especially love when people choose to actually share our posts instead of taking the video or track from within the post and sharing that directly. We’re all one community, in this together, trying to help each other out…we’re an independent site that has zero advertisers and have never utilized any “boost” or “sponsored” posts to push our site onto others. If you know you know. Real recognizes real. These are things that continue to embody us.
Thank you again everyone…
Keep up the good fight wherever you find injustice in the world. Hardcore to us to this day is still a movement steeped in an anti-establishment, anti-authoritarian, support freedom of speech/protest/assembly/information/press message. It continues to be something that is much more than just music.
Peace and Love,
