Dude…faith in Asia (again) restored when I know South Asians actually DO have some love for punk rock. Check out this band from Nepal called The Doltish! No – they’re not a metal band…they’re most definitely rough around the edges, a couple chords of angst filled rock n’ roll, screamed, shouted just the way punk rock was designed without the glitz and glam of perfected solos and blast beats (ain’t nothing wrong with that – but it’s nice to get a little bit more balance in the world of heavy music from South Asia :-). SOOOOOOO good…the video has a girl singing along and word has it that she’s not actually IN the band. The Doltish should GET her in the band! She kills it!

Further below is their second full length which you can check out. Apparently the band hasn’t broken up but haven’t been very active…someone get on their ass to restart shit! This is awesome…
