We have a very soft-spot for this band Ordinary Neighbors from San Francisco that houses some very passionate Filipinos who CERTAINLY keep their roots firmly in place (these guys are a consistent fixture on this site and are well connected with their brethren in the Philippines). So when Joe tells me that they’ve got a new song up – I stop whatever the fuck it is I’m doing and race over to their bandcamp page, close my eyes and get ready to be taken over by emotion. On this new track they continue down that emotional-based punk that they’re known for…Jawbreaker almost always comes racing back to mind…but these guys have their own spin on that type of music.
