22 Year Career Comes to An End – Dr. Eggs Announces Farewell Tour

DR.EGGS, a band best described as a melting pot of hip hop, punk rock, electronic music and much more, announced its final tour after a 22-year career in Europe and Asia.

DR.EGGS has delivered over 400 high energy gigs since 1996 across Europe, Asia, USA and South Africa. ‘The VERY END of DR.EGGS’ tour will see the band playing in Zhuhai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Angers, Sheffield, Leeds, London, Lango and ultimately Montpellier, where the band was formed back in 1996 by Joul, the creative force behind DR.EGGS.

Traveling around the world and exchanging cultures have always been the core DNA of DR.EGGS, all the friendship and amazing memories in the last 22 years have been the best that I could have imagined. Now it is time for a conclusion and explore other possibilities in life and in music,’ said Joul.

The Hong Kong stop of ‘The VERY END of DR.EGGS‘ will take place on 8 December at the Grappa’s Cellar, line-up of the show includes local bands Shotgun Politics, The Boogie Playboys and The Sleeves. The show will be opened by musicians from the Amusix School, a music school founded and run by Joul that teach children and adults to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocal, the appearance at this show is also one of the three shows they do annually.

The tour is a celebration for all the people who have been part of this wonderful journey, and also for those who didn’t know DR.EGGS before, we will be bringing highly energetic show along with angular synths, driving bass, aggro guitar and complex rhythms.’
