Vocalist of Nepalese metal band Dying Out Flame joins Finnish death metal band Purtenance

Aabeg Gautam, vocalist of Nepalese metal band Dying Out Flame has joined legendary Finnish death metal band Purtenance. We quickly asked him how this all happened and he was kind enough to send us the following information:

“I was huge fan of Finnish death metal from the very beginning. Purtenance has always been one of my most favorite band from Finland. My previous band and Purtenance were signed to the same label Extreem Music which is how I got to know them online, but when I moved to Finland I finally got to meet them in person and we hit it off.  They were really friendly and appreciated me and my band too. I always attended Purtenance’s gigs in Finland, helped shoot their live videos, etc. so we were often together. When Ville (their previous singer) left the band, the guitarist Juha called me and asked to sing in Purtenance. I said yes right away! Since then we’ve already completed 3 rehearsals and will be hitting European for a tour November 2-11.”

We want to congratulate this amazingly talented individual and hope he continues to help make Nepal (and Asia) shine out there! If you haven’t heard his previous band – do yourself a favor RIGHT NOW.
