Thailand’s premier hardcore label calls it quits…

holding-on-records

With the sad reality of how hard it is to put on hardcore shows in most Asian countries – it is with great sadness that our buddies behind Thailand’s Holding On Records recently put on their last event before closing a remarkable door on a beautiful chapter of Thai hardcore.

Their last event was Bane’s last show in Thailand…the day after the show the owner and brainchild of Holding On Records – Gap – released the following statement:

Thank you for everyone who support us. 4 years with a name of Holding On is mean a lot for me.

Thank you every band on my label for keeping this up together: Monument X, Fed The Ripper, Grimtooth, Moving On, Whispers, TeenxTitan and all the local bands that played our shows.

Thank you and shout out to every band that came over to Bangkok and showed us the meaning of hardcore.

Thank you every one of our friends in Southeast Asia who helped us a lot with everything, put on a show and had us in your countries! This is what I love and what I get from hardcore!!!!

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

2011-2015

We wish them all the best and hope they know that the doors to hardcore are always open!
