Taiwan based robotic punk band Hadokowa release music video about toxic masculinity

Robotic punkers Hadokowa address toxic masculinity in their first music video [Taiwan]

“Hadokowa strange style oscillates between chiptunes and hardcore. Their song 囡囡 (‘nannan’) is almost a cover of old-school legends 7 Seconds’ F.O.F.O.D. but the lyrics, sung in Mandarin and translated in the video are about goofy misandry. The accompanying music video however, depicts everyday sexism as it is experienced by women  worldwide and creates an uneasy feeling. Hadokowa’s video is a welcome wake up call in a male dominated punk scene where too many music videos are full of male gaze. ”
