Stoner Doom Band Dhurma Release Track For Mental Health Awareness Day [Indonesia]

Indonesian stoner/doom metal/sludge band, Dhurma, released a single entitled ‘666ml Substansi’ back in August but only decided to send this track to us now. The only reason we’ve accepted this super late submission is that we appreciate that this song addresses mental health issues. In fact, the song was actually released on World Mental Health Day celebrated every year on August 10th.

Yudhis, the vocal, explained, “This song talks about how people who are stressed because of lockdowns. Because of that, they need to communicate and care for each other to relieve that pressure. One of the mediums for coping, unfortunately, is substances, which can be translated into alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, etc.”.
