Singapore Post Hardcore Band Caracal Announce Virtual Show and Reveal a Lineup Change

Singapore post hardcore band Caracal has teased the arrival of a new member and material in a cryptic post, both of which will be revealed this Saturday as part of the three-day virtual music festival, *SCAPE Music Day Out!.

Speaking with Unite Asia on what can be expected, Caracal shares that, “We would have liked to introduce our newest member to our fans at an in-person live show, but Covid-19 has made intimate experiences in the music world difficult. So, to make things interesting, we’ll be performing some brand new songs that are yet to be released. The show may be virtual, but we promise to play like our lives depend on it.”

The band’s latest addition follows the departure of former guitarist Gabriel De Souza, who bid farewell at his final show in January after spending 14 fruitful years with the band.

Viewers can watch the live-streamed performance at 9:50PM this Saturday, 17 October at youtube.com/scapesg. More info on the *SCAPE Music Day Out! festival can be found at bit.ly/scapemdo2020.
