Post Punk Band Closure Release Debut Album ‘Innocence’ [Indonesia]

Indonesian post-punk band Closure have released their debut album ‘Innocence’. The record took 3 years to finally release after years of hurdles including literally losing the files, the record is now out streaming everywhere.

“The global concept of the Innocence album itself talks about the journey of human life from youth until maturity where they are forced to deal with the real world. The concept of this album (influenced by the psychoanalytic theory by Fairbairn and Winnicott) considers children innocent and pure but prone to lose their innocence under the influence of stress or psychological traumas. The 10 songs on the album are the sonic lamentations of a human living through those stress and mental traumas.”

“This mood variation also signifies that Closure’s transformation, which first appeared bright, is now cloudy. The transformation from the early days that were thick with the feel of Slavic post-punk is now more comprehensive and complex with influences ranging from the Manchester scene to Australian scene.”
