Members of Japanese band Fact have resurfaced in a new band called Joy Opposites who have just released their first album called Swim. The band has released a first glimpse of the immense quality of songs that are going to be found on this LP with the track In My Bones playing below. Yo – it’s a stomper of a rock n’ roll song harking to some Foo Fighters/Taking Back Sunday type of vibes…a whole album of this is going to be INSANE however, I feel like I’m pretty sure a band that seems as skilled as they are on this one track are going to make sure that there are tons of dynamics in the type of songs collected for this debut. In short, it’s going to be good – we feel it in our Asian bones.

The band also apparently features a dude from The Amity Affliction.

They’re also highly active on facebook so get on them: https://www.facebook.com/joyoppositesband/

Here’s a really cool video interview the band did really detailing the make up of the band, how it got together, how it writes stuff, etc…all with English subtitles.
