Legendary Thai Metal Venue Immortal Bar Closes After 18 Years of Service

Last night was the last show at legendary Thai rock/metal venue Immortal Bar after 18 years of non-stop service to not only Thailand’s own heavy music community, but worldwide as well. Below, Punk Rock Bangkok wrote a cool little tribute to the venue which you can read:

As someone who has performed at both versions of Immortal Bar (once with King Ly Chee in 2004 and then again with Dagger this past November), to see a landmark venue of the Asian music community go really hits close to home. Fah and all that he has done for his community of metal fiends, is undeniable.

Hopefully it’ll return in some format.
