Korean Punk Festival IT’S A FEST! Back for 2020

Last year, Korean punk rock label World Domination, Inc. celebrated their 10th anniversary by holding the first IT’S A FEST!, a free 2-day beachside punk rock festival on Muui Island just off Korea’s west coast. Over the weekend, WDI held a kickoff event for IT’S A FEST! 2020 with bands from both last year and this year’s lineups.

IT’S A FEST! 2020 will be held on Muui Island’s Hanagae Beach again on Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21. The complete lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but it already includes two great bands from outside Korea: Green Eyed Monster (Japan) and Social Circuit (Malaysia). Other notable acts are last year’s IAF! headliners Galaxy Express and first generation Korean punks Crying Nut. WDI has also added some hardcore to this year’s lineup with Korean bands 444 and Chain Reaction.

Entry to IAF! is free again this year, but WDI is currently selling reservations for beach bungalows and other merchandise packages to help fund the festival.
