Indonesian pop punk band Collective Shoes here to save your Valentine’s Day dilemma

Indonesian pop punk band Collective Shoes here to save your Valentine’s Day dilemma with a brand new music video.

“Valentine’s day is around the corner. As a regular teenager, you must have someone you care about. Even if you’re a punkster, it’s so natural if you have a significant other. Maybe ‘punk in love’ sounds ugly, but it’s normal. I mean, you’re human, man.
Out of money to buy things for your lover in this Valentine’s Day? Well, you’re not alone. Just like the dudes in Collective Shoes (four piece Indonesian surf punk/punk rock/pop punk or whatever the fuck genre you’d like to call them, they don’t really care) who wrote a song instead of bought their lover a chocolate cuz they’re out of money because they spent all of their money on ciggies, punk records, drinks and prostitutes. At least that’s what they said in their first single that they dropped ages back.

This song tells you a story about how a punk kid spends his Valentine’s day confused of what to give to his lover because he’s all wasted and couldn’t afford anything more than 10k idr. How pathetic.

You can also stream and ‘pay what you want’ download the mp3 here: https://collectiveshoes.bandcamp.com/track/i-couldnt-afford-to-buy-you-a-chocolate-so-i-just-wrote-you-a-song

This song is also a part of their upcoming EP ‘Brain Conflicts’ that’s about to be released soon this year. So if you’re diggin’ this tune, make sure to follow this band anywhere on internet.”
