Indian metal band If Hope Dies have released a smoking debut EP entitled Sukna! 5 tracks of pretty intense and technical metal from the sub-continent. Don’t sleep on this people. The band describes themselves as “modern metal” and as an old guy, I would assume that label encompasses the metalcore, djent, style riffs that fill this sucker up. But to label them anything but metal surely doesn’t do their insane tracks any justice…you gotta hear for yourself how seamlessly the band is able to meld and transition through parts with masterful ease. Good record boys! Keep firing at all cylinders!
