Hong Kong Punks Bastardon Unveil Valentine’s Day Split 7″ with Summer Goth (US)

Hyperactive Hong Kong cacophonists Bastardon will be releasing a 7″ split EP on 14th February with black hearted California shoegazers Summer Goth. The EP comes courtesy of Vintage Vinyl HK and will be limited to 66 copies on clear vinyl. The release will feature a new Summer Goth song entitled ‘My Kingdom’ and four new tracks by the ‘don, including a cover of Minor Threat’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Hear It’ and the following tune – ‘The Nuclear Option’.

Vintage Vinyl HK’s Nick Langford added:

“This is such an exciting project, it is important always to support local talent but perhaps now in Hong Kong it is important to recognise the impact that the artistic community has had in continuing to perform and produce new music over the past several months against considerable adversity”

To commemorate the release, Bastardon will be playing a free Valentine’s Day show at The Wanch in Hong Kong with Crust/Grind trio M.E.A.T.S and Metallic Hardcore band Dagger, who will also be celebrating the release of their ‘In Grievance’ split CD EP with UGOSLABIER.
