Hong Kong Indie Rock Strange Lives Announce Online Record Release Show

It’s a rough time for anyone to be releasing music when they can’t do anything to promote the release through shows where often bands are able to make back the money they put it into the release through sales of physical products like CD’s, vinyl and definitely merch.

So our friends in Hong Kong indie-rock act Strange Lives has just announced that they will have to move their record release celebration online to take place on August 22.

“Live shows won’t be on the menu for quite a while now… So we’ve decided to host our own Live from Home show in support of our EP Release on July 31st.

We’ve rearranged our songs to fit with our stripped-down live session with a suitcase drum-set, samples, synths, a bass and a guitar. We’re also hosting an album listening party and discussion after the show!

*** Due to logistical concerns, this show will be pre-recorded, edited, and mixed beforehand. ***
