Guitarist of Pakistani Grindcore Act Multinational Corporations Talks About Covid in Pakistan

Check out this cool series Global Metal Apocalypse has put together from musicians from all over the world:

Here at Global Metal Apocalypse we are putting together a series of videos of bands and musicians worldwide talking about their COVID-19 lockdown experiences on all fronts, the aim? To bring the world closer together as we fight as one to try and defeat this invisible heinous enemy and to show we are not alone in this.

Global Metal Apocalypse may well be “connecting the world through metal music”, but it is music that is connecting the world.

Multinational Corporations are a Pakistani Death Metal / Grindcore band formed in 2011, initially the band was set up as a joke line-up with various friends of band members pretending to be musicians… the truth was that it was Sheraz playing all of the instruments whilst Hassan shared vocal duties with Haider (on the ‘Equality’ demo).

The current line-up consists of Sheraz Ahmed & Hassan Umer Amin. Their latest release is the 2017 split with the Dutch Grindcore band Matka Teresa, it was released in a limited number of 66 copies on vinyl; there is no CD.

Below Sheraz discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected not just the band and themselves as musicians, but how their lockdown has affected the metal scene, people in general and the country as a whole.
