Folk Punk Songwriter Weeze X Christina Streams Split Release [Hong Kong/London]

You can take the girl out of Hong Kong, but even after her recent relocation to London, the political turmoil back home throughout the past year has left an indelible mark on the music of Folk-Punk songstress Weeze X Christina. Two of her tunes are now available digitally for free download as part of a split release with Punk Rock & Roll demon (and part-time Unite Asia scribe) Arthur Urquiola, who contributes three new tracks of his own.

Artwork for the release comes courtesy of the incomparable Danny Kostianos (Streets Of Rage, Ball Of Snakes), who delivered an iconoclastic piece comparable to the work of Raymond Pettibon.

Earlier this month, Arthur released ‘Badsville’ – a two-song single paying homage to the music of The Cramps. He is also gearing up for his next recording studio exorcism with Death & Roll duo Bastardon.

Weeze released ‘The Crushing Weight Of… ‘ in August last year and a new collection entitled ‘The Lockdown Sessions’ this weekend which you can check out HERE. She is also sticking it to restrictions on live music performances with frequent internet broadcasts from home.
