Emo/indie punk band wellsaid release new EP and music video [Hong Kong]

Emo/indie punk band wellsaid have released a haunting new EP entitled Setbacks and an accompanying music video for a track off the EP [Hong Kong]. The band features member of Hong Kong based math rock band emptybottles. https://uniteasia.org/hong-kong-indie-rock-band-emptybottles-release-beautiful-new-ep/ , Rocky Sum, who also runs the indie label Sweaty & Cramped http://www.sweatyandcramped.com/

Regarding this brand new release, Rocky sent in this background info:

Setbacks is an EP about rolling with the punches.

After writing “Narrow Pass” last year for split EP that was supposed to happen, I decided to flesh out the project with the help from Ponyboy’s Sung and Dixon – two musicians that I know are more than capable and unique. The point was to make fun and straight-forward music, after spending so much time in more delicate math-rock/emo projects. As it turned out, the songs that came after are less about personal relationships but more about daily struggles.

Anyhow – it is what it is.

We must thank Him (Group Studio) and Jay (Life Was All Silence) for the audio work and Morning Anxiety’s Jim for the awesome artwork.

The EP will be released in November by Sweaty & Cramped and Petit Alp Records!

May the noise be with you!”

The band will be playing next on November 4th in Hong Kong at the following show: https://www.facebook.com/events/120388625333196/
