Yo…this is a big deal…

An amazingly shot and edited documentary about the South Asian metal scene entitled Extreme Nation is streaming worldwide for free. You can look at all the times below that it goes live. For us in Hong Kong – that’s 11:30pm! The link below goes live throughout March 22nd as well. The movie takes you through 4 different South Asian metal scenes (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka) and took the director, Roy Dipankar, over 5 years to create.

From the man himself:

“Extremely elated to present our yet unreleased film ‘EXTREME NATION’ for limited digital streaming during this weekend. This is a humble effort in joining so many artists and platforms worldwide, who are working towards making art more accessible during these testing pandaemonic times, and due to the overwhelming requests for screenings over months. This is for supporters, fans, subculture enthusiasts across the globe!

Hope everyone stays safe, limit social contact in order to help protect the most vulnerable, and use online tools and other technologies to join in efforts to promote humane public responses to the crisis.

Post your thoughts and responses about the film in the comments section after viewing.”
