Dig x Dig x Dig Records Debut Release is An Asian Compilation [Japan]

Yanchi, the vocalist of Japanese melodic hardcore band 5PM Promise and Justice For A Reason, has started a brand new label called Dig x Dig x Dig Records. His label’s very first release is a 10 compilation of a variety of emo-tinged bands from all over Asia – a total of 9 countries. “Emo” in the broad sense that includes melodic hardcore (Justice For a Reason), melodic metal (Day of Mourning), melodic metalcore (Windrunner and Trails), and others…

We asked Yanchi if he could tell us his inspiration/motivation for putting this together:

“Many people don’t know that Asia has so many great bands so I really hope more people know about our bands. I want Asian music fans to check out other Asia bands.

My next step is to invite Asian bands to Japan and then we go down and perform in their countries. But of course, everybody knows that the virus is attacking our world, so, for now, I hope everyone is just checking out all this great music at home.

The compilation is set for “pay what you want” and any money that comes in I will donate 100% of it to an Anti-Coronavirus Organization.”

Check out the comp below and make sure to follow his Bandcamp page for all future releases!
