Amongst Hong Kong black death metal act Evocation‘s crushing new album Libation – are 2 tracks of serene calm. The band has already released the album yet have only put up one song on the internet (streaming further below) so it was only a matter of time that the album somehow made it’s way online by someone else’s doing.

The band takes a lot of twists and turns on this album…a lot of creativity, a lot of heart, a lot of NOT caving into current trends of music and especially trends in mainstream metal…these 2 tracks are certainly 2 of the more forward thinking tracks. Both tracks are great – but it’s the second track Impermanence that is truly breathtaking…it starts around 3.09 mark below.

Hopefully the band will release the album online for all of you to enjoy like all of us in Hong Kong.
