Pinkcow – skapunk from the Philippines – release new political music video

Pinkcow

Yes yes yes…100,000 times yes…bands like Pinkcow bringing immense pride to the “Asia” part of our website. A few months ago we featured this outstanding ska-punk band from the Philippines through an interview to help promote their latest release. Here’s the interview if you missed it or need a refresher: http://uniteasia.org/interview-filipino-ska-punk-band-pinkcow/

Today they launched their first music video for a song off the record called Parasite. As soon as the video starts with stark imagery of life in the slums of the Philippines and glimpses of jeepneys, all the while Pinkcow are set up to perform their song inside these slums…you know you’re in for something deeper then a simple “music video”. The video ends with a burning effigy of their current, in a long line of corrupt, president.

Get on this band…spread the word: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pinkcow-Philippines/891092697580051?fref=ts
